Wearing a Toe Ring

Hello dear friends! we are so sorry that nothing has been posted in our blog for such a long time, primarily because it refused the work and then the usual lack of time. But here we are again and this time with an interesting topic: Wearing a Toe Ring!

Yes, many of you probably thought toe rings were passé or that nobody uses them any longer, but you are wrong! Toe Rings are here to stay and there is still brave feet out and about that proudly wear a toe ring.

Where On The Toe...?

Take a look at the photos below and tell us which one looks better in your opinion, where would you wear it?

First we have the Proximal Position, that is close to the base of the toe. Some people wear them there but it is not very common. Perhaps one of the difficulties of that position is that there the toe skin starts to spread around to join the foot and the neighboring toes.

The Middle, while not talking about the popular TV series, many toe ring wearers use their toe ring in the middle of the toe. This place is definitely more comfortable  than the base of the toe and especially if your toes are curved (camel toes or nearly camel toes -more on that on another post).

And last but not least the Distal position, the toe ring is comfortably (for many) placed just below the head of the toe. For people with padded toes it is a safe position because the pad keeps it safe from sliding out of the toe. This position may not bee too comfortable with those with straight toes. And yet it appears one of the most elegant positions for a toe ring.

Which Toe?

Most people wear the toe ring on the index toe (next to the bigger toe) and then most on the right foot. But feel free to place it where you think it looks best on you, like your most elegant toe.

We have seen them worn on the middle toe as well although we do not find it really comfortable. Same goes for the toe next to the pinky.

Whatever you choose a nice toe ring (closed) is one of the best accessories for a Pretty Foot and you can find a whole collection of pretty expressive feet adorned with toe rings.
