Welcome to Pretty Foot Fashion!

Update 2021

As you may have noticed, we have undergone a few changes in our "board of directors". The post below was originally written by the co-founder Chris who is no longer with us. Selene has replaced Chris' duties.

Original Post

Finally I have decided to create the blog given I have much to say in the matter from own experience and as a careful observer.

Needless to say there are people that show some anger and envy when it comes to feet and foot jewelry or anything that exposes a naked foot. There are countless posts on it on the net but from reading them it is extremely obvious those people must have really ugly feet, or perhaps just ashamed of their feet (and sometimes for no good reason!). Naturally, the only outlet to their aversion is to criticize harshly as if you were talking of an anus (yeah, pardon the word but it is the best analogy).

And then there is the most (?) of us who have an appreciation for pretty feet in varying degrees. For some it is just appreciation like any form of art and at the other end of the scale we have the foot fetishists.

There we come to yet another misconception. Liking feet a lot does not mean you have a "fetish" but hey, many find it "popular" to say they have a foot fetish. The actual definition of fetish indicates that it is only when the object of affection (Feet in this case) is required to become sexually aroused. Without the object (feet) the subject (person) is unable to become aroused. Now, do you have a foot fetish or not? I don't see anything wrong with it being a fetish for some. There is only one life, enjoy it! Live and let live!

So why not open my blog with a suitable photo that conjures the essence of a pretty foot as such, as a fashion statement and other things that may come to mind. Here photographer Erik Schliksbier has captured such essence: an extremely beautiful female foot, adorned with a subtle toe ring and a blue flower where the foot is encased in a well crafted -almost artistic- fiberglass cast.

About the Blog
This blog is to complement my Google Plus page with a large collection of what I consider the most beautiful feet around.

Here I will cover almost anything that comes to mind (to me) about feet, from analytical to mundane, studies, whatever serves to explore this interesting subject regardless of the usual detractors.

  1. Awww! reminds me when I broke my left leg in an accident yet this photo almost defuses any bad memory. I have a toe ring too, love them.
